last night, I was skimming TanStack Query docs and went down a rabbit hole on its server-side usage with Next.js. What I found is a total gamechanger for performance. @tan_stack 🤯
>it's a pattern that combines server-side prefetching with client-side hydration to practically eliminate initial page load spinners. When you pair it with Server Actions for mutations, your app feels insanely fast.
here's how it works, a Thread 🧵

Laravel tip.
Use `exists()` and `doesntExist()` instead of `count()` for better performance!
When you only need to check if records exist, these methods stop at the first match instead of counting all records.

Most people think upgrades are difficult and require lot of work and planning.
There is a hack:
* be consitent,
* focused
* and merge quickly
This way you will reach maximum @rectorphp levels in single day 🚀
1) Start with this rector.php config:
use Rector\Config\RectorConfig;
return RectorConfig::configure()
->withPaths([
__DIR__ . '/public',
__DIR__ . '/src',
__DIR__ . '/tests',
])
->withTypeCoverageLevel(0)
->withDeadCodeLevel(0)
->withCodeQualityLevel(0);
2) Increase all levels at once by 2-3 steps, based on codebase. Then re-run Rector and create PR
->withTypeCoverageLevel(2)
->withDeadCodeLevel(2)
->withCodeQualityLevel(2);
3) These PRs are easy to review, and joy to see the codebase grow 😊
