I had to say goodbye last week to my deepest & truest love, Suttree. The tears have not stopped. He’s been the glue that kept me whole for the past 11 years. I want to say thank you to all of you who have supported us & helped give us extra time together.

Most of you don’t know Sutt’s origin story, so here’s a little thread w/ pics. In 2008, I decided it was past time I got my first dog. I went to the Maricopa Animal Control & found a very, very sick puppy throwing up in the corner of a cage. He was 9 weeks old & weighed 4 lbs..

I also love packaging them up. I got nice stuff for all of it & it is so heartwarming to seal up the envelopes & handwrite everything. Sitting at my art desk, nice music on, making these for super nice people that I wish I could meet in person. Thank you.

I got to package up a few of these paintings to head to people who helped w/ the emergency vet bills. I’m in a bad financial spot now (still digging out from those bills) & anything helps. I’d love to send you one of these paintings, you can even pick the color scheme.
