Actually, menstruation usually stops when someone is in a coma. The body shifts into survival mode and hits pause on non essential functions.
When my cousin was in a medically induced coma, it happened exactly like that. The nurse explained her system was prioritizing survival, so her cycle just stopped completely.
It wasn't until she regained her strength and nutrition that things returned to normal. It took a few months, and doctors confirmed there is no fixed timeline. It's different for everyone.

Curiosity made me ask.. Do females in coma get their period or it stopped until they are awake?

Since Madam Agbado and her people said we should start selling akara, kuli kuli, and roasted corn, let's talk about it.
There is dignity in every honest job. Whether it's selling akara, roasting corn, running a small business, or providing a service, hard work deserves respect and should never be looked down upon.
But the real question is why so many young Nigerians are being forced to settle for survival when they have the talent, education, skills, and ambition to do much more.
This image is symbolic. It represents the frustration of a generation carrying degrees, certificates, dreams, and potential, yet struggling to find opportunities that match their abilities.
The issue is not the hustle itself. The issue is normalizing a situation where survival is presented as the ultimate goal instead of creating an environment where people can grow, build, and succeed.
Nigerian youths are not lazy. Every day, millions wake up determined to work, create, innovate, and contribute to society. What they need is an economy that rewards effort, supports businesses, creates jobs, and provides real opportunities for growth.
We should celebrate hard work in all its forms, but we should also demand better conditions that allow people to thrive, not just survive.
Nigeria can do better, and Nigerian youths deserve better.
