He said they’ll happily stay there if that’s what it takes, for a free Iran and no more threats to Israelis. The people of Israel are so strong. It humbles me every time I talk to them. Even though the Islamic Republic has been trying to destroy them for decades, they still wish us Iranians well. They’re sitting in bomb shelters, and every single time, without exception, they tell me: 
“It’s worth it. If this is the price we have to pay to free Iran and remove the existential threat against Israel, we will do it.” What a strong and admirable nation. They started from ashes and built one of the most powerful and advanced countries in the world. That’s why, even if the entire world came together against them, Israel will survive.

We are dealing with individuals and war companies for whom this war is extremely profitable, even at the expense of thousands of lives—even if those lives are American. Even if there is a president we call crazy, and every statement he makes shakes the stock market, and those who profit from it make billions through speculation. Forget the idea that these are countries or governments against each other. The Iranian citizen, the American citizen, and the Arab citizen—we are all losers. Unfortunately, war is like a beast that no one can control. Shooting down one plane out of 15,000 sorties means nothing. And I don’t mean to discourage people. We saw the invasion of Iraq and the “Alouj” (the Americans), and what happened afterward. What we saw in Gaza, Lebanon, and what we are seeing in Iran. We are living among people who have no problem using nuclear weapons, and nothing will stop them. May I be wrong. I am not calling for surrender or defeat. You are facing an enemy who will come, kill you, and take your land whether you fight or not. I am only afraid of excessive attachment to life beyond what is necessary—and the the that we deceive ourselves with illusions of victory.

They write op-eds in Haaretz comparing Israel to the worst regimes in history. They join NGOs funded by hostile governments to produce reports designed to delegitimize the Jewish state. And then they go home. Sleep in their beds. Send their kids to school the next morning. No one threatens their family. No one disappears them in the night. No one drags them from their home. Zero consequences. Now imagine, just imagine, if Iranians had 1% of that freedom. If an Egyptian columnist could criticize Sisi the way Gideon Levy criticizes Netanyahu. If a Palestinian in Ramallah could call Abbas corrupt on live TV and walk home safely. If someone in Gaza could have held a sign saying "Hamas does not speak for me" without being executed. The Middle East would be unrecognizable. The great irony is that the people who enjoy more political freedom than virtually anyone else in the region use that freedom to paint Israel as a tyranny while the actual tyrannies they're silent about would imprison or kill them for doing the same. You're not brave. You're spoiled. You mistake comfort for conscience. You scream "genocide" into a microphone the state itself protects, then sleep soundly in a democracy you spend your days trying to destroy, while millions across this region would trade everything they have for five minutes of the freedom you use to spit on your own country.

@someIsraeliGuy @BritsB4Boats That's the main advantage, but from experience I can say that if you accidentally play a good shot and your opponent applauds it it's easy to just pretend you played it. Feels awkward to say you fluked it.
