Raider Nation, COYS, Roll Wave. Once made friends with Maxx. Mathys Tel believer. Skid guy in a past life. Now just another dude on the triple.

What if it wasn’t a vest at all, but a pager. Something designed to explode at any moment, without warning. While you’re out shopping, walking through a crowded market, standing next to innocent women and children who have no idea. Can you imagine that?

"As we saw with McCain, Donald Trump (who received five draft deferments during the Vietnam War era — including one for bone spurs) seems to hold a particular animus toward 'adversaries' who are widely recognized as patriots and war heroes." @JohnDalyBooks open.substack.com/pub/bernardgol…

Intentionally attacking civilian objects or intentionally launching an attack knowing it will cause disproportionate civilian harm is a war crime

They weren’t an imminent threat because they weren’t fucking shooting at us until we shot at them first you fucking moron

I know there are people reading this who won't give a shit about it — and I'm also an easy unfollow. (I recommend doing so because my X feed sucks.) One of most profoundly shitty things I've seen since I moved to Toronto from NYC is how many Canadians will never see the U.S. the same way because of this stretch. We're talking a generation (minimum) to fix this, in my opinion. These two countries, my two countries, were the greatest of allies (Google Gander, Newfoundland) and as someone with a huge stake in both places, it was one of the most unnecessary things I've ever seen in geopolitics. There are just some days where it pisses me off immensely. Today is one them. Now back to the NCAA Tournament.

We could argue that Trump 1 was a one-off, a freak occurrence. But electing him *twice*? Raises reasonable questions about what kind of electorate would do that.

Not for nothing, but on this day in 2003, the US invaded Iraq with strong public support and congressional approval. 5 Weeks later, Bush 43 declared victory. 8 YEARS later, the US left Iraq with 4,492 troops killed and 32,000 injured. At least 200,000 Iraqi civilians died.

😕 Neymar Jr would arguably be the greatest player in their history if he were British. In the era of Messi and Cristiano, only one player came close, that was Neymar.

@lady_valor_07 I dont tip. Their employer is responsable for their wage. If they dont like the pay the business provides, then they can get a different job. Not my problem you accepted a job where you arent paid what you expect. They made that choice, not me
