@starmortons If it’s something with Ren’py it’s not too hard to get the hang of it. Had a friend who made her own fangame fairly easily with no background in coding. Anything fancier would require a little bit more learning but it’s a good start!

tbh one of the reasons why I wanted to stop associating w/ d()l was bc of their denial of the l0lish0 aspects in the game like even when I wasn't into the game I heard it was THE game for us freaks, so when they deny it and say it was never meant to be there I felt betrayed

@romanticpathos Wagyeehh I've been wanting to dable on vns for a bit since I think it would fit my style, and I have a few close friends with their own successful vns...but I never got around to learning code..

@starmortons I have too much free time on my hands so perhaps it is something to think about.. I’m supposed to pursue a degree in web dev/programming but can’t really atm because of health issues ⚰️ But now I’m curious… Eve game… 👀

@romanticpathos I know a few people have a few projects lines up! I think u should go for it 🫡 I would love to do my own game but coding has never been my strong suit

@starmortons I’ve been musing for a long time if I should use my programming knowledge and try my hand at making something truly for the freaks but the anxiety of not making something compelling enough kind of hold me back…

@starmortons This is something that really disappointed me too. Less bitterly of course I understand Vr3l would want to protect himself from the UK government to not get on his ass, but denying the original vision of the game to pander to the mass is so eh.

I know my love for him spread to people and made a character they would've ignored into someone they started wanting to know more about too, I'm happy I got people to love 💰 and I hope people continue to love them

When everyone has there own versions of the li's I don't think it was wrong for me to take /my/ version of that character and to make it my own when he was basically bare bones when I started playing 🚬🚬

Sorry I'm emo about things, I still love the game, but I get too attached and emotional about characters I love 💔😔 stepping away from it was the healthiest option for me

I only ever loved 💰 and I wasn't very interested in the other lis minus Alex, but still he was the only reason I continued playing the game, and with the way the game unfortunately treats the guy, I couldn't really keep playing anymore 🫠

Sorry I still mention it on main from time to time, I genuinely poured a lot of my love into the game in the short time I played it, but I still couldn't help but feel bitter about things, I love the game, and I love the creativity it inspires people with, it just sucks lol

@starmortons What sucks is in the denial they acknowledge that they’re the ones who helped him create the game and it feels like idk.. weird way to show appreciation to the people who helped you I guess

Never even spoke in the main server at all bc of what I heard from my friends, left it after a few months after they released the pride update, so honestly i never knew what went on in d0lc0rd asides from my friends experience on it
