Wages are catching up despite subdue economic growth but, in real terms, they are still below the pre cost-of-living crisis of 2021. Wage moderation has contributed to limit job losses and labour market are indeed still buoyant, workers’ living standards are trailing back.

New survey on the use of #algorithm to manage (AM) workers: 6000 companies in 🇫🇷, 🇩🇪🇮🇹🇯🇵🇪🇸🇺🇸focusing on instruction, monitoring and evaluation. It shows that AM is widespread. 🇺🇸managers use 10+ tools, 3-5 tools in 🇪🇺and 1 in 🇯🇵. 👉doi.org/10.1787/287c13…

As #AI's capabilities improve by the day, it is worrisome that #skills of the adult population are stagnating like in #Canada or even falling as in other #OECD countries as shown in the OECD Adult Skills Survey (lnkd.in/dFXGerfE). Time is short, we should act now.
