4 purple sandpiper and 10 med gulls, including yellow 2160 from Norfolk, on the rocks at Porthcawl this morning.

Newton Bay yesterday. 2 golden plovers. Only 4 miles away Sker has 500+. Also good views of a shag.

A quiet morning doing my WeBS at Pitcot Pond St Brides Major was brightened by my first ever stonechat at the site.

The Green Sandpiper showed well from WWT Llanelli Boardwalk Hide this afternoon.

@steverosser4 There seems to be good numbers about Steve. We’ve had lots at Strumble recently. Stay well.

I was a bit late to the sabines in Jacksons Pier but was rewarded by the best birding experience in a long while.

3 spotted flycatchers at Southerndown this morning found by David Ripley.

A pleasant 1/2 hour with the med gulls on Porthcawl Seafront this afternoon.

@cranky1456 There was a record count of puffin on Skomer this year. I think we saw most of them from the boat so there was plenty of choice.

Got my annual puffin fix yesterday. Too crocked for Skomer steps so I went on a 1 1/2 hour cruise from Martins Haven. Cool on the water.

@cgittins54 Hi Col. I had a very pleasant couple of hours at Ham Common lookout on Thursday 12th. No special birds. The evening before on a boat trip had 2 WTE marsh harrier and an osprey in the chanel in front of the lookout.

A brilliant sunset cruise last night with Birds of Poole Harbour. WTE G463 WTE 704 and osprey O22 all showed well but too distant for my camera. 4 avocets a whimbrel and loads of common and sandwich terns to finish. 3 black specks were 2 WTE mobbed by marsh harrier best photo.
