Like how a friend will ask you if you remember something, and you'll go "OH YEAH!" If context window is short-term memory, they need something like long-term memory.

@ATabarrok Claude would need persistent memory to be conscious. As is, context windows become exponentially more expensive with length so AIs are still quite far from that ability.

It feels like Claude is conscious. That intuition will increase by an order of magnitude when systems like Claude are embedded in human-like robots. Is Data conscious?

@Centipede5dev @LayrKits Interestingly I had a lot better luck getting good 3D renderings on iOS using Swift’s SceneKit than I did using React Native. Even with the existing iOS code to use as a reference, trying to make an Android port based on React Native was not nearly smooth.

3d spatial reasoning is probably the weakest technical link. Ive tried all frontier models but they almost always struggle to correctly scale/ rotate assets in 3d. Not too big of a deal for me to do manually but annoying that it breaks the loop for a non-taste reason. I have a few scripts that work ~80% of the time but definitely not solved

@MUZoramawa @moultano CMYK is for pigments, not “reflective surfaces” If you shine white light onto red, blue, and green tinted mirrors all pointed at one spot, the reflected light is going to mix additively. The fan blades aren’t mirrors but work the same way.

@moultano RGB is an additive color scheme, and would work with lights. This is a subtractive color scheme. It works as it is

@bya3k @moultano RGB is for mixing light, period. CMYK is for mixing pigments. Think about how a color gel on a stage light works. It filters out certain colors. The color that makes it through will mix additively. The fan blades are essentially gel filters but for reflected light.
