#Periodismo | Felicitamos a @TeodoroVega, editor general del portal ecuatoriano de temas ambiantales @BitacoraEc, por su inclusión en la lista de @stringerjournos, la cual destaca a periodistas independientes que cubren asuntos complejos en sus países. El lema de The Stringer Foundation: "La verdad tiene un costo que los periodistas no deberían enfrentar solos". Esta iniciativa busca activar un ciclo de donaciones globales para que el trabajo de estos periodistas continúe. Hoy se anunció en la edición internacional del @nytimes a los finalistas del premio de The Stringer Foundation, que reconoce a periodistas de todo el mundo que enfrentan adversidades para ejercer el oficio. Hubo 776 postulados y estoy entre los 25 finalistas de países como Rusia, Rumania, Siria, Sudán. Soy la única mexicana y una de los cuatro latinos. Agradezco muchísimo por este enorme reconocimiento a la @stringerjournos y a @anjansun por esta generosa iniciativa. 🧵

Respect for the journalists in Mexico bringing us the facts at this difficult time. It looks like the Mexican President is between a rock and a hard place. She’s staving off a U.S. invasion by taking out cartel leaders, which risks igniting a civil war. Given my experience, I advise staying indoors. It’s hard to say how far the violence will spread beyond the incidents in 15 states already.
