@MesoFrank9 He does not need to include U.S. descendants of slaves in his resolution and then get up in front of cameras stressing the fact that his resolution doesn't request compensation.

We are supposed to be PLEASED that the President of Ghana, quite possibly a descendant of SLAVERS, hopped his big headed ass up in front of world leaders to tell them that descendants of slaves don't need financial reparations. People want us to THANK HIM for undermining us.

Don't fall for the okey doke when Sharpton and Pressley convince Democrats to fight for reparations for ADOS as strongly as they fight for illegals. Let us know. We went to the UN and demanded reparations in the 1960's. Ghana, which participated in the TAST, cannot fight for reparations for American Descendants of Slavery, we are not their citizens In the 1960s, Black American activists, notably Queen Mother Audley Moore, petitioned the UN and US government for reparations, arguing that centuries of slavery and discrimination required financial restitution and economic compensation. This era saw formal demands for reparations as a "settlement" for labor exploitation, paving the way for later modern movements Key 1960s actions included: Audley Moore’s Initiative: In 1962, at her Philadelphia conference, Moore urged for a "Resolution on Reparations" to be brought before the UN, demanding payment for unpaid labor from 1865 onward. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Case: In his 1964 book, Why We Can’t Wait, King proposed a "massive program of special, compensatory measures" as a form of reparations for racial injustice. The Black Manifesto (1969): Issued by James Forman and the Black Economic Development Conference, this demanded $500 million (later increased) from white churches and synagogues for exploitation. UN Context: While the UN has recently called for reparations for slavery (as of 2026), these 1960s efforts were part of early grassroots attempts to frame reparations as an international human rights issue, notes this African American Intellectual History Society article.

@S_OkudzetoAblak Yeah, must be crazy. If you think we’re gonna let you come here and disrupt what we’re working for. You are not the post person for black Americans when it concerns our reparations claim. It has absolutely nothing to do with Ghana and anyone in it. We will not stand for this.

@S_OkudzetoAblak GTH, Africans were not innocent bystanders, in the transatlantic slave trade. This narrative suggests that Europeans were sole invaders who raped the land while Africans remained passive victims with no internal agency, it was collaborative and they willingly participated.

@BurnEr92976227 Difference between Africans and Americans is Americans don’t just stand around and get mistreated, we fight and die for our rights and beliefs. That’s why they mad. Africans have no honor or respect for themselves.

@BurnEr92976227 @Khayree408 Africans most definitely deserve what they're going thru. Complete colonization & forced to flee around the world to countries that later only reject them for being disreputable & musty.
