by now probably hundreds of s-300 were destroyed by low tech drones in Ukraine, that tells you something about its capabilities and again - export variants of chinese (and russian) systems are significantly handicapped, so we have no idea how chinese systems would perform in real environment.

neither US nor NATO engaged in warfare against an enemy with modern echeloned air defenses. cheap drone based interceptors that work on shahed drones - will also work on helis and slow aircraft. ignoring "WW1 with drones" just because you believe you will automatically have air superiority is quite naive.
