It is insane they have to defend or explain this, but since people are intent on making them do so, let’s use it as a teachable moment. If your loved one dies far from your home and you rush to them, you will need clothes. I am contacted by people in crisis (or their friends) often about how to help, and sending comfortable matching sets they can wear from couch to funeral home to probate court is one of my tips. My friend @rmanion brought me a giant bag of new @TMFoundation clothes the day after Jake died, and I was able to feel human and look presentable, plus the clothes had no memories attached to them. I’m gonna link my piece on how to help friends in crisis below.

Good morning. While locked out we were busy here. This in one we have been able to help.
Jess is 3 and reportedly had never seen the outside of a cage till now. Breeders had her but either didn't use her, or it didn't take. She shows no sign of having pups. Yet they kept her in the backyard shed trapped in a 2 1/2-foot cage for that long.
She was finally confiscated about 2 hours from me after a couple years of reports by neighbors. Nobody had time or space for her, and she was TBK. She was labeled untrainable by some hack on her paperwork, and that is likely why. I got a phone call about it and I went and got her.
In just days she is asking to go out for the bathroom stuff and sits and stays on command. She is happy, healthy and soon will be ready to find a family.
From scared and trembling to goofy and outgoing in a blink of an eye. From not wanting to enter a home to sitting on a chair unprompted. Just a little time, patience and care. They want to please. They want to live. They just need our help.
This is the change YOU can make in a dog's life. It's easy as pie. Just do it! 👍

It is emerging from various discussions on my thread today that the actual mother of invention might just be bad weather. Bad weather and a safe place indoors from which to escape it while noodling around.

We have RFID chips in our cans, strict rules about content and cameras in the trucks. The city could ticket us if they want to spend the money on enforcement.
The Lid Lifter Inspectors from the city leave No Pick Up stickers on cans they suspect contain incorrect content.
Neighbor placed trash causing a No Pick Up will lead to some fun times.
It's gonna be great.

One of the puzzles I find myself mulling over -- too often -- is the question of why artistic genius springs up in geographic clusters rather than in some broad, roughly predictable way. So many great musical talents from Seattle all at once? Whatever may be behind this phenomenon, it doesn't seem to operate with AIs, whose outputs don't arrive in this irregular, qualitatively "lumpy" fashion.
