What an Indy 500! Congrats to Felix Rosenqvist, this year’s winner. He won the closest race ever, became a father in the Month of May, and capped it off with an #Indy500 win.

I lost my AirPods, so I had to run out and grab a new pair especially for the gym. On the way back, they showed enough charge, but then died anyway. That was God telling me to lock in on Him more and tune out the rest of the distractions for a while.

I was sitting in a recovery meeting and someone brought up how almost every major city has an MLK Avenue or Street tied to heavy drug activity. Think about that for a minute. That wasn’t his dream. Addiction enslaves people and destroys lives.

The two people killed in the San Diego mosque shooting were teenagers. We have an epidemic of kids committing violence in this country. These kids cannot be rehabilitated.

Five people are dead, including two people police say carried out the shooting, after officers responded to a shooting near a mosque in San Diego. Schools in the area were evacuated during the response.

We spent part of Saturday covering immigration protests across Indianapolis. The demonstrations were part of 28 protests happening across Indiana, as people called on Governor Mike Braun to stop the detention of illegal immigrants at the Miami Correctional Facility.

Drivers beware. Just about every county in central Indiana along with ISP will be doing a “Click it or Ticket” initiative this month! The Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI) is partnering with Indiana State Police (ISP) and local law enforcement agencies across the state to urge Hoosiers to buckle up as part of the national “Click It or Ticket” campaign , a high-visibility enforcement effort focused on increasing seat belt use. Beginning May 11 through May 31, 2026, officers will work overtime to ensure drivers and passengers are using their seat belts and children are properly secured. The overtime patrols are funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) through ICJI’s Comprehensive Highway Injury Reduction Program (CHIRP). @Suretocover @93wibc @caseydaniels317
