If you feel comfortable, we’re inviting victims of crashes or their families to join us in our Safer Mobility Campaign. Whether you’ve endured physical injuries or emotional challenges, your voice deserves to be heard. By sharing your experience, you can: ✅Help raise awareness of the risks mobility scooter users face. ✅Push for the inclusion of mobility scooter users in the Highway Code. ✅Ensure the media gives this critical issue the attention it deserves. ✅Why this matters: Mobility scooter casualties have risen by an average of 20% year on year over the last decade, with fatalities almost doubling in 2023. Despite their vulnerability, mobility scooter users are still not recognised in the Highway Code, leaving a significant gap in their protection.
