I think what I find so obnoxious about this sentiment is that people who say it clearly have never been outside in that kind of cold without anywhere to take shelter. I’ve had to camp in a forest when it was below zero, I can tell you that I’d rather be outside at 86 degrees F

This is how like, at least 40% of people are. 30% is the lowest I can theoretically imagine. I don’t see the point of these terms being treated like niche LGBTQ-adjacent identities when they fundamentally describe typical behavior.

At the end of the day it’s a microlabel that has no direct negative effects. I think it’s just an eye-roller for people because it’s a type of thing people call themselves because they’re convinced they’re a lot more unique and anomalous than they are.

I have such bad academic anxiety that it’s comical. Literally anything less than perfection is emotionally crushing. I got one question wrong out of 30 on a midterm a few weeks ago in a graduate school class when the mean was 4 wrong and I genuinely feel bad about it
