@Ravenismeee Yes. He left 2 weeks before the wedding. I spent about 2 years grieving and making peace with it. My circle of friends is too small, and my other friends were still friends with him, so, I stay friends with him.

@lurkinglilacs I struggle with this because I told mom (the main reason for me having it) because I hoped that she would have SOME compassion and finally understand why I may not remember a conversation we had or remember it differently - to hopefully reduce her toxic outbursts toward me.

Maybe this is a hot take but 90% of the time you should never tell your parents you have DID if you can help it. If your parents were safe and supportive and reliable you wouldn't have DID in the first place

@Know_A_Free_Man @gusholderhaber Glad it worked for you but my electrolyte rich water hasn’t helped my skin and hair growth. Electrolytes do help but not in the way you suggest. They help with proper muscular and neurological function.

The body does not prioritize hair or skin when energy is depleted. Most people drink purified water instead of electrolyte water. My scalp used to be dry, itchy, and constantly flaking. That all changed once I started drinking only electrolyte-rich water. I am growing my hair out now, and it feels soft and full. Short hair was easier to manage back then because it showed less flaking. I love my hair these days. The rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis I once thought were incurable have completely disappeared. I was also losing leg hair on the back of my legs, and it too has started filling back in. The best change was that my daily nausea and headaches/migraines are gone as well. What if problems like these are caused by not getting the electrolyte minerals our bodies need.... the very minerals humans have been ingesting since the beginning of time. We stripped the water two hundred years ago to remove cholera... but did we go too far? Humans have been in mental decline and body/energy decline for the last 200 years. What if it all starts with not getting enough minerals?
