Glass Gem Corn looks like it was made by a jeweler. It wasn't. It was made by one man, one kernel at a time. In the 1980s, Oklahoma farmer Carl Barnes began crossing ancient Native American corn varieties: Pawnee miniature popcorn, Osage Red Flour, and Osage Greyhorse. Each season, he saved only the most vividly colored kernels and replanted them. He did this for years. The result is a flint corn with translucent kernels that retain their color even when dried. Every ear is different. The colors cannot be predicted. In 2012, a single photo went viral. Seed orders crashed websites. Barnes passed away in 2016. The Cherokee Nation had called him a valued resource, instrumental in forming their seed bank. He said: "The seed remembers."

In Connie Littlefield’s 2002 film called “Hofmann’s Potion”, Albert Hofmann describes an experience he had as a child, and says, “I was walking on a beautiful May morning. Suddenly, I stopped and I had the feeling everything had changed. The wood was beautiful, beautiful green, and I had the feeling that I saw now the wood as it really is. And I had the feeling I would be included by it. And I had a feeling of happiness I had never had before. And this gave me the security that if you have open eyes, you may see the world in a different way. I mean you see it as it really is – Wonderful.”

The world is changing for the better thankfully, but about time too, because everything beautiful that we know is in danger of being lost. It was only a few decades ago when going to the zoo was a real treat for children. Today, those same children, grown up, abhor zoos! That being said, I do wish to note that many years ago, when I went to the main zoo in Madras, India, I could scarcely believe the size of the big cat enclosure; it was absolutely huge and extended almost as far as the eye can see. Compare this to what your average (maybe ALL western zoos?) western zoo provides for the big cats. Disgraceful really, why is it that a "poor" country knows how to properly provide for a big cat, whereas a "rich" country has not got a clue? Money?

[From Google AI] Q: How intelligent are octopus? AI Overview incredibly intelligent, ranking among the most intelligent invertebrates with cognitive abilities comparable to some mammals. They demonstrate advanced problem-solving, such as opening jars, escaping tanks, and navigating mazes. They use tools, display play behavior, and have a unique nervous system where 60% of their neurons are in their arms.

It is a bit more involved than that Kirill. On the entire electromagnetic spectrum [long-waves on one end, and gamma-rays on the other end] the band which constitutes visible light is extraordinarily small. So... when science talks about "life", they are always talking about "life" within this extremely small band which constitutes visible light. And what about the much larger frequency ranges which are outside of this? [No, don't worry about that Mike, "nothing lives there..." 😀]

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the Great Barrier Reef in Australia is also one of the best places in the world. That would be a cheaper option for you, as you could probably get a Working Holiday Visa. Beware though, as the cost of rent in Australia is now extortionate for many people and also beware that there are many "cowboy" Diver Operators [safety is not their highest priority, $$ is] on the Great Barrier Reef, so it is critical that you are confident in your own skills. One of the *most important* things my diving teacher told me, was that if you ever run into trouble [as I did once, inside the President Coolidge shipwreck], you need to: (1) stop, (2) observe your breathing, and make sure it is calm and controlled, for if you lose control of your breathing, you could be lost.

European natural gas prices will be “a whopping 40% higher than previously projected for 2026,” says HSBC. Devastating for industry and households. We forecast at least 100% higher than previously projected, as Europe takes time to inevitably beg for more Russian gas.
Bloomberg@business

European natural gas prices will be a whopping 40% higher than previously projected for 2026 and will stay elevated through 2027 as the Iran war and closure of the Strait of Hormuz set off a supply shortfall, according to a report from HSBC bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

I did unfortunately see one comment that imo breached the rules. Possibly that was the tweet in question? Namely, the question was asked as to "what good deed would you do...", and then it made reference to some type of murderous action that you would undertake as an act of vengeance in retribution for the horror that is befalling the Iranian people at this time. This type of comment [and action] is understandable, but certainly a murderous action cannot be classified as a "good deed." Understandable yes, but good no.

I have never witnessed a US president who is more disconnected from reality than Trump. Megalomania, malignant narcissism, and insanity in someone with this much power is a recipe for disaster. As a country, we are in the midst of Orwell's nightmare. 😳👇

Q: What was he saved for? A: To hasten [vs a slow descent] our rendezvous with destiny, by ferrying us in a handbasket to hell [which is close]. Thomas Jefferson: "The government you elect is the government you deserve." The world is in the midst of an unprecedented global crisis, and in order for us to survive there must be a genuine, deep spiritual renewal in America. Not cosmetic religion, but a genuine rebirth of the heart. Here is a joke: A man died, and was being shown around heaven by angel, and after the tour was complete, the man said to the angel, "It's all so beautiful, but there is only one thing I did not understand." And the angel said, "What's that?" The man replied, "What is behind that tall wall [stretching upward as far as the eye can see] there?" The angel replied and said, "Shhh!! That is the [*insert the name of any bigoted religion here*], they think that they are the only ones here." Moral of story: If you are going to be shallow minded here on earth, then you will also be shallow minded in the hereafter, e.g. "Only people of *my religion* will be saved... no-one else." Nahum Sarna (“Understanding Genesis”, Chapter 1, Creation, Cain and Abel, p.30) says, “One of the unusual stylistic features of our tale is the emphasis upon the fraternal relationship. No less than seven times the obvious fact is stressed that Abel was Cain's brother; yet the very nature of the biblical Creation story excludes any other possibility. The Bible wishes to establish emphatically the moral principle that man is indeed his brother's keeper.” Nahum Sarna (“Understanding Genesis”, Chapter 1, Creation, Cain and Abel, p.30) says, “The second concept postulated by the Cain and Abel story is the necessity of relating worship to piety. Throughout the Bible there is an acute awareness of the fact that human nature being what it is, the needs and demands of each may be in conflict... Here, through our story, the Bible is expressing one of the most profound, if saddest, truths in the history of religions when it shows how an originally well-intentioned act of divine worship could become the cause of the first murder committed by man.”

If only Trump could have been in Paradise, he would have prevented Adam and Eve from eating the forbidden fruit, and he would have saved mankind. Only he could have achieved this. And furthermore, he would have made a deal with God - and come out on top! He was saved by God... but saved for what? Behold the man!

"No action without a reaction" refers to Newton's Third Law of Motion, stating that for every action force, there is an equal and opposite reaction force. The pendulum can only swing so far before it swings back again, and the mistaken ideas and desires propelling the Zionist project have now crashed headlong into the Divine justice which rules the universe. Judges 5:20 "They fought from heaven, The stars in their courses fought against the state of Israel." [We obtain this reading after replacing the proper name "Sisera" with "the state of Israel", and this adaptation is apropos to our time.] The Zionists have never understood the core tenet of Judaism [i.e. the "Shema", viz. God, Nature, and Man are One], and so the story of Cain and Abel is meaningless to them. And to compound their errors, neither do they understand the true spiritual significance of the proper name "Israel." They have a heady and dangerous mix: (1) the Bible, (2) a misunderstanding of the "Shema", and of the proper name "Israel", (3) abundant money, (4) a corrupt and spiritually bankrupt American leadership. Their failed ship is now breaking apart on the rocks of ignorance.

Zionism since their existence, is the greatest danger to Jews around the world. Zionism exploits and manipulates the name of “the Jews” daily to advance a political project. Zionism cannot sustain itself a day, without constantly invoking and weaponizing antisemitism. Zionism depends on ensuring that Jews everywhere are blamed for the actions of the Israeli state. We must stand together to denounce and reject a movement that desecrates G-D s Holy Name in such an unprecedented way. Remember: Israel is not “the Jews,” and Zionism does not represent Judaism. Amen. They just will not bow, and America cannot accept this behavior. The US seeks domination at all costs, and Putin made it abundantly clear as to how American politics works. The incoming president comes in with magnanimous ideas but is soon visited by the men in dark suits who proceed to inform him as to how his administration will be run. John F. Kennedy refused to accept this, and so he was assassinated by the CIA [in cooperation with Israel] for it. Note: Mike Pompeo *begged* Trump not to look into the official records on Kennedy's assassination. Trump did, and then decided on a limited release, and concluded by saying, "That's all folks, there's nothing more to see. Move along now..." Emanuel Swedenborg said that the essence of hell is the desire to rule others. The American whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg wrote the book "The Doomsday Machine: Confessions of a Nuclear War Planner", where he stated that the US was very seriously considering wiping out approx. 160 million human beings in the pursuit of permanent world hegemony. Iran remains a thorn in the flesh of the men in black suits.

President of France calls President of Iran and pleads with them to stop bombing countries where there are US bases - neglects to call Israel and US to ask them to stop bombing Iran. You can't make this stuff up, folks.
Emmanuel Macron@EmmanuelMacron

I have just spoken with Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian. I called on him to put an immediate end to the unacceptable attacks Iran is carrying out against countries in the region, whether directly or through proxies, including in Lebanon and Iraq. I reminded him that France is acting within a strictly defensive framework aimed at protecting its interests, its regional partners, and freedom of navigation, and that it is unacceptable for our country to be targeted. The unchecked escalation we are witnessing is plunging the entire region into chaos, with major consequences today and for the years to come. The people of Iran, like those across the region, are paying the price. Only a new political and security framework can ensure peace and security for all. Such a framework must guarantee that Iran never acquires nuclear weapons, while also addressing the threats posed by its ballistic missile programme and its destabilising activities regionally and internationally. Freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz must be restored as soon as possible. I also urged the Iranian President to allow Cécile Kohler and Jacques Paris to return safely to France as soon as possible. Their ordeal has gone on for far too long, and they belong with their loved ones.
