This is so silly. Let’s say the 8 seed beats the 1 seed—then they’re stuck losing the coin flip throughout the entire top cut. This just makes no sense.

Guys please do not bork your run at houston by playing non ASC pokepads. Its a competitive event for money, if you think someone wouldn't take a free win because you couldn't spend a couple extra bucks on the correct card then you trolling. I would 100% call a judge on my opponent on a win n in if they played a card that was explicitly not allowed.

@thelaxagenda Correct that you shouldn’t take the chance but it’s also scummy behavior to take a free win for something that has no effect on gameplay. Both can be true at the same time so maybe just recommend following the rules without outing yourself as a shark next time!

Im very excited for another Celebrations set. The original set has massively helped me in building retro decks. I very much hope that they go down the route of reprinting more retro staples in the next version.
