Shooting down at F-15E at altitude is bad but this A-10 Warthog shootdown is a worse sign. It's the toughest low altitude strike aircraft we have. If an Iranian shoulder fired missile shot it down then our conventional helicopters and USMC Tilt rotors are at VERY high risk if we try to assault the SOH islands.

Second U.S. plane went down near Iran, this time an A-10 near the Strait of Hormuz on Friday. Unclear if hostile fire, but the A-10 is a twin engine, very robust and rudimentary plane with triple-redundant flight controls. If shot down, two planes in a day may = Russian help.

Honestly, Europe ought to send President Trump an Edible Arrangement or something.
Iran showed it had the ability to reach most of Europe with its long-range missiles and Trump eliminated the threat for them while they watched from the sidelines.
