We wrapped up the conference with workshops on WikiCred and Effective Debunking. The weekend conference was brought to end with new ideas on building the community further.

A wrap to MisinfoCon 2025! Our first panel talked about how entities should come together to build a larger community action to hold platforms accountable against the spread harmful AI content.

The day ended with five set of workshops that spanned from debunking to deceptive designs and games. The Tactical Tech exhibition lit the corridor. Thanks to all the supporters @thoughtworksIN, @Info_Activism and @FOSSUnited.

Just before lunch we looked at the technical challenges in detecting deepfakes. Heard here: detection is cheaper than generation Post lunch speakers spoke about decentralized community building.

Day 1 of Misinfocon started with looking at interesting applications of AI in Journalism in Storytelling. The next set of talks looked at the human cost of scams, the dark creativity behind it and literacy initiatives to support it.
