the only difference between smitty's pointless drought and macklin's no goal drought is that mackling got two assists in two games- but macklin hasn't scored in six games, that kid IS TIRED

@tealsmitty Its a wild system draft lottery is pretty boring to watch imo. It was fun to watch us keep 1st overall when Celebrini was draftable.

if macklin's dad said smitty was good and played good with macklin, i really cba to overthink what is being said about smitty honestly

@tealsmitty I was a bit wrong also worst team gets the most combo of numbers then they draw from 14 lottery balls they determine 1st overall then move down. It is confusing.

@tealsmitty I watched the 2023 and 2024 draft and all I understood was that there is a lottery for the 16 teams that did not make it to the playoffs. the lottery decides the draft order. And then the teams can choose the players. But that’s all I understood

@tealsmitty They assign teams a set of numbers and then start drawing numbers and based off of the draw teams start getting eliminated.Its a bit weird. But worst record only gives you like a 25% chance to get first overall. Islanders last year basically got as lucky as you can in the lottery
