“To strive for justice is a sacred duty, and I am ready to lay down my life for Haqeeqi Azadi (true freedom) of my nation. At this moment, Pakistan is being governed solely under “Asim Law”. Here, verdicts are pre-written and merely announced aloud. Like the baseless decisions and sentences of the past three years, the Toshakhana 2 verdict is nothing new for me. This ruling, too, was delivered in haste, without any evidence and without fulfilling legal requirements. Neither we nor our lawyers were even given opportunity to present our case. The sustained solitary confinement imposed on me and my wife constitutes severe mental torture. We are barred from books, television, and meetings. Although television access is granted to every other prisoner, even this fundamental facility has been withheld from me and Bushra Bibi. The books sent by my family are confiscated by jail authorities, and we are kept in solitary confinement for weeks at a time. This treatment is inhumane, yet all this oppression and brutality cannot weaken my resolve. It is not our tradition to target women and children. Our religion mandates mercy toward women even during warfare, yet here they are being persecuted purely out of political vendetta. I am deeply saddened and distressed by the mistreatment and brutality faced by my sisters and other women outside Adiala Jail. The treatment meted out to Bushra Bibi, Dr. Yasmin, Mahrang Baloch, and other women stands in clear violation of Islamic traditions and moral values. Bushra Bibi, my wife, has been subjected to solitary confinement purely because of personal hostility towards me, even though she has no political role and is a homemaker. The army is mine and belongs to the people of Pakistan. When I criticize Asim Munir, it is criticism of an individual, just as past dictators were criticized. Asim Munir did not come into power through a public referendum or popular vote. Whatever is happening to me in jail is being carried out on the instructions of a colonel acting under Asim Munir’s orders. The rule of law in Pakistan has been severely undermined. Just as in 2007, PCO judges who sided with a dictator and tarnished the sanctity of the judiciary earned no respect, while those who resisted were hailed as national heroes. Similarly, today, the judges who are resisting this system are our heroes, while those acting as puppets, obediently following orders, lack conscience and are no different from the PCO judges of the Musharraf era. For the struggle to restore the rule of law and uphold the Constitution, it is essential for the Insaf Lawyers Forum and legal fraternity to step forward decisively. Only a just legal system can safeguard the people; without it, neither economic progress nor moral development is possible. I have full confidence in Salman Safdar and his team and have instructed them to file an appeal against these bogus decisions in the Islamabad High Court. My message for Sohail Afridi is to prepare for a street movement. The entire nation must rise for their rights!! To strive for justice is a sacred duty, and I am ready to lay down my life for Haqeeqi Azadi (true freedom) of my nation.” Illegally Incarcerated Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, speaking to his lawyers after the verdict of a military-style trial in Adiala Jail - (20 December, 2025)

🇵🇰 WHEN SISTERS SIT IN THE COLD FOR JUSTICE, WHAT IMRAN KHAN’S ISOLATION MEANS FOR DEMOCRACY Imagine this: 3 women, unarmed, sitting outside a prison gate in cold temperatures, not demanding special treatment, not asking for power, just the basic right to see their brother. That brother? Pakistan’s most popular politician, former PM Imran Khan, currently being held in solitary confinement at Adiala Jail. This isn’t a scene from a movie. It’s happening in real life. And in the eyes of millions of Pakistanis, and many watchers abroad, it’s the latest sign that Pakistan’s democracy is in free fall. Khan, once a cricket legend, then a reformist politician swept into power by a frustrated middle class, is now locked away, denied access to the public, his lawyers, his party, even his family. According to his sister Aleema Khan, his mental isolation is deliberate, designed to break him. He’s been permitted only a single 20-minute visit last week, and that with her sister, Dr. Uzma Khan. He has 3 sisters who try to visit him every Tuesday: Noureen Khan, Dr. Uzma Khan, and Aleema Khan. In the U.S., this would trigger a national outcry. But in Pakistan, it’s been normalized, even celebrated by parts of the ruling establishment, eager to erase Khan’s influence and memory ahead of upcoming elections. Let’s be clear for American readers unfamiliar with Pakistan’s political fabric. Imran Khan is not just a political figure, he is the people's voice, commanding support from every corner of the country, particularly the youth. In many polls, he is backed by over 70% of the electorate. He represents the threat that scares entrenched political dynasties and military-backed elites, an independent leader who can’t be bought, silenced, or controlled. That’s exactly why he’s been imprisoned on dubious charges, disqualified from contesting elections, and subjected to psychological warfare, not just legal punishment. And it’s why his sisters, Aleema Khan, Dr. Uzma Khan, and Noureen Khan, are now facing police blockades, smashed car windows, deflated tires, and intimidation, simply for trying to see their brother. Yesterday, on top of everything else they were already enduring, cold water from water cannons was turned on them. Women. Unarmed. Peaceful. Sisters. Being sprayed in winter temperatures by state forces, for daring to ask for a visit. What’s worse? State TV anchors and government figures mock them openly, questioning their right to protest, calling them “residents” as if their citizenship is conditional on political obedience. This isn’t just a Pakistani crisis. This is a test of Western credibility. The same governments that preach about human rights and the rule of law cannot stay silent when a U.S. ally imprisons its most popular civilian leader and targets his family. You don’t have to like Imran Khan’s politics to see the danger here. You just have to believe in due process, human dignity, and the right to peacefully dissent. Yesterdya, outside Adiala Jail, 3 women stood for all of that, in the cold. The question is, will anyone stand with them?

🚨🇵🇰 IMRAN KHAN'S SISTERS SPEAK OUT: SOLITARY CONFINEMENT, DEEPFAKES, AND A WARNING TO ASIM MUNIR Prime Minister Imran Khan's sisters just went public with a chilling update. Dr. Uzma Khan visited her brother after four weeks of total isolation. She says he was angrier than she's ever seen him. His message was blunt: if anything happens to me, Army Chief Asim Munir is responsible. No books. No phone calls with his sons. Six cameras ensuring no guard even speaks to him. He told his sister the mental torture of solitary confinement is worse than physical torture. Hours later, the military hit back. The ISPR spokesperson called Imran Khan "anti-state," "delusional," and a "national security threat." They referenced an AI deepfake video of the sisters supposedly colluding with India. Government officials threatened to "rip out their tongues." The sisters aren't backing down. They say this isolation is a test run for something darker. We get into: • Why Imran Khan broke his usual composure and named Asim Munir directly • How they are using crude deepfakes to paint his family as traitors • Why the sisters believe the regime is testing public reaction before escalating (potentially harming or murdering Imran Khan) • What 40 US lawmakers just told Marco Rubio about Pakistan's transnational repression • Why the family sees no middle ground with the current military leadership • What Imran Khan's final message was to his people and @PTIofficial The regime wants silence. The sisters keep showing up. @Aleema_KhanPK & Dr Uzma Khan: "They wouldn’t dare do anything to him. We will not sit silently” This is no longer just about one man in a cell. It's about whether 250 million people accept military rule dressed up as democracy. Tuesday, they return to Adiala Jail. Whatever the consequences. 01:15 – How the media twisted the personal story of Aleema (Imran Khan’s sister) 03:05 – Pressure placed on her family after Imran Khan’s arrest 05:22 – How TV hosts tried to force Aleema into their version of events 07:10 – How journalists tried to use her emotions for ratings 09:48 – How political talk shows decide what the public should think 11:55 – How producers tried to script Aleema’s answers 14:20 – How she realized in real time that her interview was being manipulated 16:45 – Political groups trying to pull her story to support their agendas 18:58 – Facing fear and online harassment after speaking publicly 21:36 – Why Pakistan’s media environment feels unsafe for honest voices 24:05 – How false claims about her spread across the country instantly 26:44 – Identifying who applied the most pressure behind the scenes 29:30 – How private family matters became a national political debate 32:15 – How women are treated by the media during political scandals 35:02 – Why the public never heard the full truth at the time 37:28 – How off-camera conversations changed her view of Pakistan’s media world 40:14 – Whether anyone in politics actually wanted the real story from her 42:55 – The emotional toll of being used in political crossfire 45:20 – How Aleema learned to protect her story from outside manipulation 52:10 – How she realized the emotional cost of staying silent

“Imran Khan told my sister last week that if anything happens to him or his wife in jail, Asim Munir will be responsible.” - @Aleema_KhanPK speaking to @abcnews Earlier this year Imran Khan revealed that General Asim Munir had approached his wife Bushra Khan through intermediaries when, as then Prime Minister, Khan had removed Asim Munir from the position of DG ISI. But Bushra Khan had declined to meet with him, saying she had nothing to do with these matters. #FreeImranKhan

DG ISPR violated his Oath by conducting a political press conference. He used shameful language which embarrassed his institution. DG Sb and his team usually turn off comments from Twitter (X) but people responded to them on other social media platforms as seen in this video!
