Looks like now UDF is more welfare oriented than LDF.
Major points are:
• Raise welfare pensions to ₹3,000
• Fix a ₹35 per kg procurement price for paddy

Let’s take welfare pension as an example. Since 1980, the LDF has raised it by ₹1900 during 26 years in power whereas the UDF has raised it by a mere ₹100 during 20 years in power. Now both the fronts are promising to raise it to ₹3000. Who would you trust?
