Not everyone’s definition of progress is buying a couch to impress strangers on the internet. Some of us prioritize comfort, family responsibilities, and gradual improvement.
A room is easy to furnish. Character, responsibility, and consistency are much harder to build.

Our landlord bought us a generator to be pumping water.
When it got spoilt, we informed him.
The landlord said we should sort it ourselves. It was none of his business.
We calculated money for repairs, but nobody was willing to contribute.
So I started using my own generator to pump water.
For the first month, nobody contributed money for fuel.
But anytime I pumped, they would rush to their flats to fetch water.
I later did a separate connection mainly to my flat.
They stopped seeing water to use.
Buying water outside costs ₦500 per keg and the place is far.
So I monetized my water.
₦300 per keg.
I don't know who informed the landlord.
Now he says I should be giving him a cut because the water I'm selling is for him.🙄
