(1/3) 3h ago, we've found our family cat Mietek/Mark on our driveway, laying and crying in pain, probably he was hit by a car. After visiting vet, they said his pelvis is broken in 3 places and that he'll need an expensive surgery to get him back to walking and free him from pain

@theclergycat I absolutely understand, it really hurts when a cat has an accident, aspecially when it could be prevented by keeping cat at home

@thatplag No, I absolutely don’t count you as one of those people! Sorry for the misunderstanding, or if I came off as rude- I do cat specific rescue, and it hurts SO BAD to see cases like this because cats were outside intentionally.

NO HATE TO OP But for everyone who puts their cats outside, this is what you risk. Every. Single. Day. We rescued an indoor outdoor cat one time that was (likely) picked up by his tail, swung around, and smacked against the ground. KEEP. CATS. INSIDE.

@theclergycat Thanks for explaining, I've understood your post like u counted me to the group that keeps cats outside.Few people was posting like that earlier, few even insulted me, then I clarified that he is indoor. I'm just sensitive on that topic and want to explain situation crystal clear

@thatplag I did read your tweets, that’s why I stated this is not hate towards you. I’m aware your cat was an inside cat that got loose, but people some people need stuff like this shoved IN THEIR FACE before they’ll understand.
