Thoughts after week 1 of season - Story can't play SS. Going to cost us games - Coaches get an F for ABS prep - Durbin sucks. Not an everyday 3B - Abreu is a stud - I question Cora's ability to energize a clubhouse Winning fixes everything. Let's hope for better at Fenway

Time we start looking at Cora. The approach sucks, players look deflated, no clue how to use ABS, defensive lapses still a problem. Really rough start

My lineup tonight would be: DH Anthony SS Story LF Duran 1B Contreras RF Abreu C Narvaez 2B Mayer 3B Kiner-Falefa CF Rafaela • Let Anthony focus on hitting, get Duran in the field and take his mind off only hitting. • Durbin needs a reset. • IKF hasn’t played since opening day can’t let him get cold. Use Monasterio as PH late if needed. • Give Narvaez tomorrow off, 2 day break before Fenway opener. Just need let the rest of these guys hit it out. It’s only been 4 games. Go Sox

Joe Ryan thoughts: - Legit #2 starter - Sox want to keep Wilyer, move Duran - Twins tearing it down, not competing in next 3 years. Duran doesn't move the needle for them. - My guess is they ask for Mayer + more While Ryan slots in perfectly as our 2, I question the fit with Minnesota. Think Sox need to aim for a SP with limited team control on a low payroll club in competitive window (Peralta, Skubal, Alcantara). Keep Mayer and Abreu, center a deal around Duran + prospects.

4 of the Sox 5 top prospects, and 6 of 8, are now pitchers. The emphasis on arms by Breslow is finally paying off.
