Ridiculous American tipping culture almost killed my son today He got sick yesterday so I rushed to a pharmacy in Boston Luckily his medicine was available, I was relieved “Can I pay cash? I forgot my card” I said to the pharmacist “Sure. That will be $50 plus tip” I froze. Tipping in a pharmacy is not common in Europe “I'm sorry, I only have exact $50, I didn't know about the tip” I said “You didn't know? This is America. The staff rely on tips. If you cannot afford it, then don't come here” I was shocked. My son was sick and she was refusing to sell me basic medicine I had to beg and give her my necklace with an EU flag as tip, so she would finally let me buy it I will never visit this barbaric country ever again

My landlord complained that property taxes went up $1,800 this year. Raised my rent $2,400 to cover it. Passed on $600 more than it cost him and called it a necessary adjustment. Now I'm paying his tax bill plus his profit margin on his tax bill. I don't understand this fucking system anymore.
