@AgPeriUrban @MadeStuchbery Hi Madeleine, it’s a crabapple tree, identified by its leaves. Looks like a strawberry guava but the leaves are different. Looks like Chinese hawthorn berry but the leaves are different. Finally it looks like an ornamental pear tree as the leaves are similar but the fruit is not

@MadeStuchbery Unless I can feel, cut into and smell the fruit, my guess is VERY VERY LATE Crabapple, or more likely in-season Cherry or Strawberry Guava. Ask Thanh @thefruitnerd.

@JennaPrice It’s either horseradish, salsify, or burdock root. Judging by its shape (slightly bent) and it’s spaced skin ridge expansions I think it’s salsify. But i could be wrong. Bite it and explain its taste and you’ll be able to give any true fruiterer a better clue! 😂 @aliceinframes
