An 18-year-old Iranian girl, Melika Azizi, will soon be hanged in Iran. But first, the regime will rape her. Because she's still a virgin. Because according to their sick logic, a virgin goes straight to heaven. So they rape her first, so she can't enter paradise. Only then the noose. And here in America, people walk around who defend this regime and wave the flags of this deathly ill regime. Those aren't "people with a different opinion." Those are beasts. Just as guilty as the executioners themselves. People who support this regime don't deserve a place in our society. - Fern Yvette

Elon Musk just put the entire university system on trial. Not the curriculum. Not the professors. The premise. Musk: “You don’t need college to learn stuff. Everything is available basically for free. You can learn anything you want for free.” For a thousand years, universities held one monopoly. Access. You paid the toll or you stayed ignorant. The internet erased that in a decade. Every lecture. Every framework. Every textbook. Free. From any screen on Earth. The six-figure tuition is no longer buying knowledge. It is buying a signal. Musk: “There is a value that colleges have, which is seeing whether somebody can work hard at something, including a bunch of annoying homework assignments, and still do their homework assignments.” That is the product. Not intelligence. Not creativity. Not vision. Compliance. You are paying $200,000 to prove you can tolerate bureaucracy on a schedule. Musk: “Colleges are basically for fun and to prove you can do your chores. But they’re not for learning.” The entire system is a sorting machine for corporate HR. It does not measure what you can build. It measures whether you can sit still, follow directions, and deliver on command. Four years of obedience dressed as education. Musk: “If you’re trying to do something exceptional, you must have evidence of exceptional ability. I don’t consider going to college evidence of exceptional ability.” The system optimizes for average. It rewards the compliant. It certifies the patient. It quietly filters out everyone who refuses to wait for permission. The ones who reshaped the modern world never finished the test. Musk: “Gates is a pretty smart guy, he dropped out. Jobs is pretty smart, he dropped out. Larry Ellison, smart guy, he dropped out.” They did not drop out because it was too hard. They dropped out because the speed limit was too low. The most dangerous thing a university does is convince a generational talent that finishing the syllabus is the achievement. It is not. It is the floor. A degree is a receipt for compliance. The future has never belonged to people who finish their homework. It belongs to the ones who never needed the assignment.

Thank you for being one of the few conservative politicians willing to speak out on this issue. I worked in the wrongful conviction space for many years, and I still cannot even fathom what goes on inside our federal and state prisons. I’ve seen people who made bad mistakes in life go into these facilities and come out broken, psychotic shells of who they once were. Too often the system takes people who are already mentally unwell, struggling, etc., and turns them into something far worse. There is little to no rehabilitation that I have witnessed. Even the programs that are supposed to be rehabilitative have been taken over by the left and Islam. They bring in radical left-wing schools, groups and Imam’s that further radicalize inmates. Most of the Imam’s take over for the Christian groups that are hardly in the prisons anymore. I would argue that even a healthy person who enters prison will be broken by it. This is a serious crisis. If we don’t fix it, people who go in for 10, 15, or 20 years and are then released back into society are a bigger threat than when they were initially locked up. Don’t get me wrong, punishment is absolutely needed for people who do bad things. But if we take already sick people and effectively harm them for years, what will happen when they get out? And furthermore, in a lot of these facilities there is no real differentiation between inmate and correctional officer. Too often you see both become just as unhealthy as the other. Conservatives and Christians need to show up and try and reach everyone. We are allowing the left to recruit broken men into soldiers that are being radicalized/primed in these state and federal institutions.

I got a call tonight from a constituent whose son is in federal prison He explained that he hasn’t heard from his son in several days (which is unusual for him), that his son suffers from multiple, potentially life-threatening health conditions that are going untreated in prison, and that he needed to know whether his son was still alive He sent me the main switchboard number for the prison in question (which is on the east coast), and I called the number Someone answered almost immediately I explained who I was and why I was calling, and in particular that I needed to know whether this particular inmate was alive and well The guy scolded me three times for calling “too f***ing late” and refused to tell me anything Only when I persisted did he agree to check his records to confirm that the inmate in question was alive and well After checking a list briefly, he came back to the phone and said “he’s here, and he’s alive and receiving the treatment he needs” (His parents assure me that that’s simply not true) I asked politely if someone could leave the inmate a message asking him to call his parents in the morning He said, “it’s too late” I responded, “I don’t mean now, I mean in the morning” He scolded me again for calling too late, and then told me I’d have to call tomorrow and track down the inmate’s counselor I asked him if he could relay the note to the counselor for me He scolded me again for calling too late and asked me to call back tomorrow to track down the inmate’s counselor I asked for the guy’s name He refused to answer I asked for his name again He hung up on me That’s not okay Sadly, this is not the first time I’ve had this experience when talking to people from the U.S. Bureau of Prisons on behalf of constituents with an incarcerated family member suffering from a severe medical condition And each occasion, I’ve been treated at best with dismissiveness and at worst with contempt and profanity Has anyone else experienced this with the U.S. Bureau of Prisons?
