Hit him, shoved him back several feet - the ice road worked agains ther and in his favor, otherwise he would have been run over for sure. He only drew when she drove her car at him. After that impact it's attempted vehicular manslaughter, a fleeing felon, which clears the subsequent shots as she passed, to stop her, effect arrest.
