The first fight I ever got into in prison was pretty bad. Two inmates grabbed me and threw me in their cell. They hung a pillowcase over the small window and they both started double-teaming me. They were unloading all over my body. One inmate was hitting me from behind while the other one started punching me in my throat. I remember looking up at him and gagging, tears running down my face. The guy behind me was going to town on me. I tried to get away but they wouldn’t stop coming. They finally left me in a heap on the ground. I was bent over trying to catch my breath when one of them got behind me and went to town again. It was so bad. I really took a pounding and this is why I hate fighting.
