A PL title is never a failure. But it’s clear to see that under this manager this team will never dominate. Winning is a habit not a hopeful dream. Losing out on two trophies in the same way we lost out on everything in the past, shows that it will never be a habit under Arteta.

I’ve realised every time I engage with Arteta cult members all the arguments are solely focused on the premier league and why we failed. They never consider the other potencial trophies that were available too. He failed to clinch all of them! Address that!

@tk_churu So? You think he’s the only manager that doesn’t get his first choice ? Grow up, if he’s good he can do more than he has with the talent he has available to him. I’ve seen mangers win with not one player let alone first choice. Also Rice was the first choice Caicedo was a plus.

Josh Kroenke has backed Mikel Arteta beyond anything I’ve ever seen in football. He gave him the funds to build a dynasty in Arteta’s image, which Mikel has done. But here we are a dynasty level squad with nothing to show for it.

@un0themones Aw you think all dynasties are filled with Micheal Jordan’s, LeBron’s and Steph Curry’s. Dummy. Supportive players are required it’s all about balancing the squad and using them to the best of their abilities and shaping the philosophy with their strength and limitations in mind.

@bombdiggy__ Gabriel was when he initially came propeled us to a title challenge so yes. Trossard was a good 6th man. Ben White for many years was great. Arteta wanted Norgaard. And yes they were great supportive players for many seasons. Nothing was won. Now another rebuild is needed.
