Today is the first day in nearly two years that I've not worked on this novel - it's finally finished!
...well, okay, there's one more edit pass once I have a proof, but for now the next Grace Telluride mystery is in the hands of my cover artist/typesetter. It's pretty big!

@tholin I'm doing casebound hardcovers through KDP. The binding is actually a little nicer than Ingram, and usually cheaper. Then I'm ordering foil jackets through Catprint. They can only do foil on cardstock, not ideal for reading, but it looks great for display.

This is my second foil cover and I almost regret reporting that foil covers sell. Since neither KDP or Ingram offer them, and other POD publishers charge more for the basic book plus almost $5 additional for foil, it's challenging for an indie to take advantage of it.

After last night, Map of the Drowned City has taken the #4 spot in my hardcover revenue for 2025. I didn't release the book until July and was sold out at some of my August shows, and didn't add the foil cover until Dec, so I think it's going to have a really good 2026.
