I'm excited to announce I'm standing to be South West Young Labour's Membership & Campaigns Officer! Getting involved with Labour is still daunting for so many young people in our region - I'm standing to bring down that barrier and make SWYL accessible! More details below ⬇️

As great as it is to not have a conservative gov anymore the unfortunate reality is that the far right is on the rise. Reform UK's numbers are terrifying. Labours incredible landslide victory should be celebrated but we can't ignore how much work there is still yet to be done.

My government will serve you. Politics can be a force for good. The work of change begins today.

Happy Election Day Eve to those who celebrate.

By my count, of the 95 positions that make up the Labour, Lib Dem and Green youth wings only 13 are held by BAME people. Of these 13, 8 are non-BAME specific roles. 7/8 (88%) are in Labour. It’s clear only Labour is seriously committed to uplifting young BAME voices 🌹

Devastating & heartbreaking scenes in Rafah following yet another Israeli attack - in flagrant breach of the ICJ ruling & international law. Our own Government's lack of leadership is beyond shameful. They must finally halt arms sales & put real pressure on to end this horror.
