@MaryS58459511 @PoonehSarmadian Completely agree! Why some areas at least do the TSH and the FT4 (unfortunately, not FT3) is an unknown.

@PoonehSarmadian Central hypothyroidism is certainly under-recognised (at least in the UK). Thyroid testing that relies so heavily on TSH will miss many such patients. Unless thyroid hormones are tested at the same time these patients and their physicians will be ignorant of the potential CH dx
