@Mashburn4NC That’s nice. At our place you can get up close and personal with the animals. We have fences because like people they need to know and keep boundary’s. Oh yeah we are right down the way from the NC Zoo.

North Carolina is home to the world’s largest natural-habitat zoo by land area: the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro covers about 2,600 acres (larger than many famous urban zoos combined), and its animals actually live in massive open-air habitats that mimic Africa and North America, rather than traditional cages. Most people know the state for the Outer Banks or basketball rivalries, but very few realize it has this gigantic, relatively low-key wildlife park that’s bigger than the San Diego Zoo and Bronx Zoo put together.
