In the early hours of 21 March, Russia launched a drone attack on Zaporizhzhia. A couple was killed. Their two daughters, aged 11 and 15, were injured and hospitalised. In total, at least six people were injured. A residential building was hit and partially destroyed, sparking a fire that damaged nearby buildings and cars. This is what Russia’s war looks like: targeting civilians in their own homes. Ukraine needs stronger air defences to protect its people. Tougher sanctions and more pressure on Russia are essential to stop these attacks.
