Prepare to shed a tear... @northernassist retire first of their 102 "Pacer" trains with most to go before the end of the year. The infamous units, featuring bus seats, were brought in by British Rail as a temporary fix in the 1980s but stayed on the tracks for more than 30 yrs.

Blackpool!!! Today is the day! Our little tribute band gets to play one of the UK’s most iconic venues, Empress Ballroom at Winter Gardens! The venue, the gig 30 years ago that got us into The Stone Roses, we are 4 very very lucky lads, enjoy the day 🍋🍋🍋
