The gap was over 6 years since I went down to AC services in Banbury but totally worth the wait with these 8x4 G430 tippers with the new S-U-P-E-R 11 engines.
Will be following up with full driver training let’s see how these perform @keltruck @RussKelly71

The Yakutian knife has recently been thrust into the spotlight due to a tragic event where a Russian soldier from Yakutia was involved in a deadly knife fight with a Ukrainian soldier, who recorded his own demise as he was fatally stabbed with the traditional Yakut knife. This incident has shed an unexpected light on this cultural artifact, mixing its traditional significance with a modern, somber reality.
Yakutian, or Yakut knives, originate from the Yakutia region in Siberia, Russia. They're famous for their unique asymmetrical blade - one side flat, the other concave - which not only makes cutting easier but also keeps materials from sticking to the blade, ideal for tasks like carving, hunting, or working with animal hides.
Traditionally, these knives are crafted from high-carbon steel, prized for its durability and sharpness. Some modern versions might use stainless steel for better rust resistance. The handles are usually made from local woods such as birch, providing a good grip even in the Siberian cold.
These knives are more than just tools to the Yakut people; they carry cultural weight, often passed down through generations or given as meaningful gifts. Their fame has now spread globally, appealing to survivalists, bushcraft enthusiasts, and collectors who appreciate both their utility and the cultural legacy they represent.
