As a principal, I’m supposed to be an “instructional leader.” But I told our teachers this week, that I don’t know how to do that in the middle of a pandemic. Right now is not the best time to talk about programs, plans, data points, and “best practices.” It is time to support.

I hope schools that are closing because of covid19 are offering low income students access to technology. And yes, I literally mean if we have to, taking a computer from the school and placing it at a child's home. Now this doesn't solve internet challenges but it's a start...
