No, seriously, this can work. if I were in the writers’ room, I’d pitch that that we start with the boat miles offshore, moving closer to land every week. The stakes are clear: the longer you can stay onboard without this woman getting sick of you, the better your chances of making it to shore/being rescued. Give us a million dollars, it’s happening.

@Kurt_BSH @EvolvingHockey The reason I have mixed feelings right now is because it doesn’t feel like they saved any AAV. This number is at the high end of what I think Konecny could’ve expected after recent signings.

@trager @EvolvingHockey if he gets a bump with Michkov/whoever else they add then he's a point-a-game player and i doubt the Flyers are looking to trade him anyways. i'd like to have the flexibility, but if it saved them some AAV i'm probably willing to take the tradeoff.

The value for TK is fine. Few guys have scored like he has while getting as little help as he has the last two years. Still very unsure he fits the timeline for where the Flyers are now. But I enjoy watching him play hockey!

@Kurt_BSH @EvolvingHockey Mostly agree, but I think that Konecny’s numbers are likely to get a little bump in the next couple years (assuming the Flyers actually have an NHL-ready PP at some point), which would mean he might be tradable in the right circumstance.

I really don't think the Flyers have the types of assets that the Wild want, honestly. The whole reason they're considering trading Rossi is apparently because Guerin thinks their forward corps is too small. So it would probably begin with Foerster, and I think he's untouchable.
