Our PAST (#Pride and Support Team) kicked off #TransAwarenessWeekNL with a ceremonial flag raising! Members of our GSA and Social Justice groups delivered a brief speech before hoisting the #TransPride flag. @GSDSIC @NLESDCA @transsupportnl

Happy Agender Pride Day! Agender is defined as not having a gender. Some agender people describe it as having a “lack of gender,” while others describe themselves as being gender neutral. Agender people fall under the “nonbinary” umbrella and the “transgender” umbrella.

In 2019 we released a Special Report on Trans Youth in NL with the assistance of @transsupportnl. Washrooms in schools, along with many other issues were identified by youth we spoke to. Check out what they said and the recommendations they made. childandyouthadvocate.nl.ca/files/SpecialR…
