Jets fans what’s your grade on this class?
@travisjoh@Connor_J_Hughes Please! Won’t know it’s good till 3 yrs or so. Lots of draft capital. Traded away pro bowlers, will they get back same value, dought it.
The #Jets traded back into Round 1 with the #49ers and are selecting Indiana WR Omar Cooper Jr.
The 2025 Second-Team All-Big Ten had 69 catches for 937 yards and 13 TDs last season for the national champion Indiana Hoosiers.
@CaliJets Totally get that. I think Lemon didn’t do well in interviews and glad they didn’t reach for cooper at that spot. Sadiq is 250 with wr speed I’d say he’s faster that Wilson, and a much better blocker than mason. They can move sadiq everywhere, he lined up at every spot on offense
@RichCimini Watched every ducks game as a ducks and Jets fan, the person he is, the speed and hands, and his blocking is insane, he destroys people. Watch the tape of him.
@CaliJets Watched every ducks game as a ducks and Jets fan, the person he is, the speed and hands, and his blocking is insane, he destroys people. And is actually faster than Garrett
@Joerb31@CaliJets Watched every ducks game as a ducks and Jets fan, the person he is, the speed and hands, and his blocking is insane, he destroys people
@RobbySabo Have you seen Sadiq block!!!! Watched every ducks game as a ducks and Jets fan, the person he is, the speed and hands, and his blocking is insane, he destroys people.
The New York #Jets takeaway from tonight: Selecting Bailey and Sadiq, two players who aren't exactly *physical* or *violent*, is extremely anti-Aaron Glenn. Now, one could argue, "Hey, that's good, right? That means he's figuring out this new NFL, right, that it's not about the physical, tough-guy act, that instead, speed/finesse/playmaking/space is the ticket."
Sure, that could be the argument. But I'd say something different: The ticket is about *outsmarting* the opponent, not selecting specific prototypes. They're overthinking this thing by not taking the best players, and it feels like the *analytics* could be leading the way in this draft.
