As a NBPOC, I have to continue to acknowledge my privilege & acknowledge that even tho the hardships that I face as a POC are significant right now is the time to continue to highlight Black voices, to keep encouraging dialogue & to recognize the struggle of the Black community

sometimes recognizing you need a break - from work, from your environment, from your surroundings, from your social commitments is what is exactly needed to feel rejuvenated. of course that is if you do indeed then go on to take a bit of a break!
