@EDCouncil @Susan4_ED I’ve sent 2 enquiries and reported a road fault. I am posting on here due to the severity of the issue. I sought advice from a mechanic who had stated I could be thousands of pounds out of pocket to fix my car IF being the key word it is even fixable.

If having to go through my insurance which will put my premium up next year. Given that it is even possibly to fix the car. I could potentially be having to write my car off depending on how bad the damage is. Which I will find out later today.

At what point do the council step in and take action for their poor upkeep on roads and drivers safety. I am now without a car and left spending more money on public transport/ taxis to get me to and from work. This alone will rack up another hefty bill that I am left to pay.

he had come out to take a look at the car and he noticed the car back wheel had shift back completely, rubbing off the rear quarter panel and had knocked the back bumper out of place, which is the main cause of all these issues.
