US Iran talks - where the world learned the crisis not solved

Over to Asim Munir. He has to convince the Iranians to take the deal. The stronger side often makes the final offer and leaves. So the ball is now in Iran’s court. They shouldn’t have let it come down to Vance doing a presser of this nature. Because if the Iranians take the deal now then it will be taken as Iran caving in. Also, Vance’s disappointment was visible. Seemed like he really wanted a deal here.

Talks failed but history will remember the lengths Pakistan went to, to get it settled peacefully. We have punched miles above our weight & gave the world a glimmer of hope against all odds. We were the only avenue that gave hope to millions & millions of mothers & children who dreaded destruction. Proud of our diplomats. We know it’s a good news for a specific faction of anarchists in Pakistan but then again, until they get hold of affairs, let’s cherish what we did in the last two weeks for peace. Congratulations, Pakistan. And good luck to the world !!

دیپلماسی برای ما ادامه جهاد مقدس مدافعان ایران زمین است. تجربه بدعهدی‌ها و بدسگالی‌های آمریکا را فراموش نکرده و نمی‌کنیم. همانطور که جنایات شنیع ارتکابی آنها و رژیم صهیونیستی در جریان جنگ‌های تحمیلی دوم و سوم را نخواهیم بخشید. امروز روز پر کار و طولانی برای هیات نمایندگی جمهوری اسلامی ایران در اسلام‌آباد بود. مذاکرات فشرده‌ای که از صبح روز شنبه با مساعی جمیله و میانجیگری پاکستان شروع شد تا الان بدون وقفه ادامه داشته و پیام‌ها و متون متعددی بین دو طرف تبادل شده است. مذاکره‌کنندگان ایرانی، از همه توان و تجربه و دانش خود برای صیانت از حقوق و منافع ایران بهره می‌گیرند. داغ سنگین بزرگان و عزیزان و هم‌وطنانمان، عزم ما را در پیگیری منافع و حقوق ملت ایران جزم‌تر از هر زمانی کرده است. هیچ چیزی نمی‌تواند و نباید ما را از پیگیری رسالت سترگ تاریخی خود در قبال میهن محبوب و تمدن شریف ایرانی باز دارد. جمهوری اسلامی ایران مصمم به استفاده از همه ابزارها از جمله دیپلماسی برای تامین منافع ملی و حراست از مصالح کشور است. در ۲۴ ساعت گذشته در مورد ابعاد مختلف موضوعات اصلی مذاکره شامل تنگه هرمز، موضوع هسته‌ای، غرامت جنگ، رفع تحریم‌ها و خاتمه کامل جنگ علیه ایران و در منطقه، گفتگو شد. موفقیت این فرآیند دیپلماتیک منوط به جدیت و حسن نیت طرف مقابل و خودداری از زیاده‌خواهی و خواسته‌های غیرقانونی، و پذیرش حقوق حقه و منافع مشروع ایران است. از دولت و مردم خونگرم و شریف جمهوری اسلامی پاکستان به‌خاطر میزبانی مذاکرات و مساعی جمیله آنها در پیشبرد این روند قدردانی می‌کنیم.
