Writer Dan Gilroy on the scene with the Force healer in #Andor "Cassian Andor is sensing his death ... some part of it, at least ... he's watched too many people [die] ... and so many strange occurrences have happened" "I always imagined that after meeting the faith healer, [the concept of the Force] lands with him ... and I believe when he's on the beach dying in 'Rogue One' ... he's not imagining this is death. He's imagining this is some sort of continuation" (via Backstory Mag)

Syril Karn is truly one of the most compelling characters in Star Wars. To be so blinded by a need for order and control, to follow and idolise the fascist regime like a perfect, pathetic bootlicker, to realise far too late what's right and wrong, yet to go - despite that devastating realisation - after the nemesis you created in your head, someone who doesn't even remember you after all that he has lived through; to die just as pathetic as you lived, nothing but a pawn in the Imperial game. What a beautiful narrative foil to Cassian. One who gave everything for the right cause and one who gave everything for nothing. #Andor

“I believe that defense wins championships,” Mavs GM Nico Harrison told ESPN regarding his motivation to trade Luka Doncic for Anthony Davis. “I believe that getting an All-Defensive center and an All-NBA player with a defensive mindset gives us a better chance. We’re built to win now and in the future.”
