Sa HS namin circa 2000s, may honor system in such a way na if you achieve the required GPA per quarter/period, honor student ka. Pero bukod sa pagiging part ng honors' list, yung tops dogs are still given the Valedictorian, Salutatorian, Honorable Mentions.

Wait, so sa K12 puro with honors na lahat? True ba wala nang Valedictorian, Salutatorian titles? So if honor lahat isali sila sa Showtime LOL. But kidding aside, honors used to be puksaan talaga ng magagaling. I dont know how that works now if lahat honor tapos di alam ang DOT.
