Hi Seid, we completely understand how frustrating it is to invest your time and hard-earned Connects into a proposal, only to see the job post expire without a hire. We know that for freelancers just starting out, every Connect is a significant investment in your business. To clarify our current policy, Connects are automatically refunded if a client cancels a project before a contract is made or if Upwork removes a project post for violating Terms of Service. However, if a job simply expires or the client doesn't choose a freelancer, Connects are typically not returned. We are constantly looking at ways to make the bidding process fairer and more transparent for our community, and your feedback regarding "unfilled" jobs is very important to us. @Upwork @oscarmoses19 Why aren't clients held accountable for not hiring after posting a job? I spent 300 connects (~$45) bidding with full confidence, and the client hired no one. That's a lot for beginners ; and we don't even get a refund when the job expires.

I have never got any from Upwork Maybe I am the one with bad luck
